Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO)
Last few years I used to get calls from outside US.
This is typical example when you apply for job in some job portal. The company I applied is in US and their recruiters are out of US.
They know everything, but still the discussion goes as follows.
For our example: Candidate is having 10+ years of Java experience and working in New York. He used Oracle as database. All this information is available in his resume.
Recruiter: Sir, we have position in California
Candidate: I already told that I am not ready to relocate.
Recruiter: We have Jr. Software engineer position, you can grow a lot there.
Candidate: You see in my resume that I already have 10+ experience and I am not ready for it
Recruiter: I see that you have Oracle in your resume, Do you want to apply for DBA position?
Candidate: that is not my main strength
This discussion continues like this.
Some times it all looks like they are hiring some out of college grads and putting them on job without training.
They waste everybody’s time and damages their company name.
